"Some legit listings, but I’d still keep your guard up"
I did find a few real listings on the site, so it’s not like the whole thing seems shady. But there were definitely some posts that made me pause and wonder if something was off. I wouldn’t send anyone money until you’ve verified the owner and checked everything carefully...

"Helpful for PCS hunting, but I still double-check everything"
I’ve been using it to look for places during a PCS, and it does help since a lot of the listings are near bases and people seem to understand the timing better. That said, I’m always a little nervous about getting fooled by an outdated or sketchy listing, and some posts definitely feel old or not updated fast enough. It’s useful, but I wouldn’t trust it blindly.

"Support basically never replied"
I reached out to support a couple of times and, after waiting around for a bit, still didn’t get any real response. Frustrating when you just need some help

"Paid and then everything went quiet"
I paid hoping this would help get my place rented, but after that I started feeling doubtful. It took forever and I didn’t get any serious bites. Still not rented, so overall it’s been disappointing

"Leads are hit or miss"
I got a decent number of leads, so that was nice, but the quality was all over the place. Some were actually useful, and others felt like they weren’t even close to what I was looking for. That part was weird. Overall, it’s not terrible, just kind of inconsistent.

"I wanted to like MilitaryByOwner, and I guess..."
I wanted to like MilitaryByOwner, and I guess it does the job... but the site felt kinda clunky to me. Searching around and trying to filter listings took longer than it should have, and a few pages were slow loading. It works, sure, but it just wasn’t very smooth or easy to figure out

"Communication was all over the place..."
I had a frustrating experience trying to message renters/buyers on here!!! Replies were super slow, people would skip over basic questions, and a few conversations just totally fizzled out?? It felt like I was constantly chasing everyone down with no real support or progress... Definitely more hassle than it was worth for me!!!

"Too expensive for what it is"
I expected a lot more for the price. It just didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth. Wouldn’t bother again.
